A Little Bit of Everything

This week my mom was given the opportunity to travel to St.Barths with my Grammy. She was excited to be able to go back and witness one more time, to those who never accepted Christ as their Savior. So the rest of us back here at home are trying to survive ten days without Momma. Honestly....I don't know how she does it! ;) Me and Beth are worn out taking care of these three energetic kids! :)

So what do we do while Mom is gone? We have a work day outside!! (that was Dad's idea) :) But it's up to us to make the work fun, right? And what kid wouldn't love a picnic!

(Also, I couldn't get a normal face out of any of them!) :)

Dad also decided that it was time we got more chickens. The kids were SO excited about having new chicks to raise. Me, on the other hand, I have never been a chicken girl. Trust me, I love to eat chicken, but being around them everyday and having them follow you around the yard is not exactly my cup of tea :)

Today, Callie got a special little something in the mail! A couple of months ago, Grandpa promised to get Callie flowers. Ever since then she has gotten so many flowers from her grandpa! She was so excited about the purple package full of flowers that she got today!

Before Mom left, she told Callie that she better not lose any teeth while she was gone. What do you know, Callie lost her two front teeth in the same day!

And, of course, we have been working on school too. Silas took his spelling test yesterday and got 100%. He was thrilled!  Micah is not yet old enough to be learning how to read, but he asked me if he could do a copy of Callie's paper. Isn't he so cute!

So, we are barely getting by without our Momma! Thankfully some ladies in our church have made us a meal or two and offered to help us in any way that they could. But I still can't wait for Mom to get back home!
