Thanksgiving

    Yes......I know I am really late posting on Thanksgiving...Yikes!! So I will have to catch up on all that has happened in our life since my last post. Which so much has happened! Crazy, isn't it?

   We had an awesome day here! I love being together as a family! Last year Josh wasn't with us for Thanksgiving, so mom was super excited to have all of us together.

     After getting up that morning, Mom, Beth, and I all started cooking. (sometimes it feels like a waste to spend hours cooking and then only 15 minutes eating it!)

     Anyway, once all the cooking was done we all sat down to eat. It was SO good! My mom's turkey is the best! Another thing we do while we are eating is go around the table and say what we are thankful for. It is amazing to see  all the Lord has done in our life since our last Thanksgiving! We are truly blessed!!!!

 

 

Of course we have our traditions. Later in the afternoon is when we all go get our tree. There is an awesome tree tent in Alachua that we went to. The prices are really cheap and the kids loved going through all the trees picking out which one was there favorite. After we get our tree we decorate our house. And you can't forget Christmas music! Us kids are never allowed to listen to Christmas music until we start to decorate. (but sometimes it is really hard not to!) :)

So right now I am listening to Christmas music and looking around at all the decorations, just loving the Christmas time.

Just remember that through the whole hustle and bustle of Christmas time. don't forget why we celebrate. Jesus is the Reason for the Season!!!!
