Friday, a man from my church (Bro. Carter) asked if my Dad and Josh could go fishing with him. Josh had to work that day, so I asked Dad if I could go with them instead. He said that I could but that I would have to get my saltwater fishing license. We thought that we would be able to take it online but then realized that I couldn't because I don't have my driver's license. So that meant that Dad would have to drive me 45 minutes to Lake City to get it. Ad he did! Isn't that so sweet!! Just so I could go fishing with him! :)
Anyway, We got out on the boat at 9:00, and didn't leave till 4:00! Thankfully we were able to catch tons of fish that day! Me and my dad were having a competition to see who could catch the most fish.(me and dad have always been really competitive.) At 2:00 we were both tied at 14 fish. For the next two hours I caught nothing!! Dad on the other hand caught seven more fish. So by the end of the day he won 21-14. Now he will never stop teasing me about how he won! :)
I love my dad. He can be really annoying at times, but I love him anyway! :)

Warning: Tons of Pictures to Follow!!!
Last week Mom, Beth, Silas, Callie, Micah, and I were able to travel down to Fort Myers to see grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles. We had tons of fun! Monday night was a big family dinner. I really enjoyed just being able to talk with cousins and play games.
Silas, Callie, and Micah were so excited to get new Pj's from Grandma and Grandpa. (don't ask me why Micah is making that face!)
Some of my younger cousins are playing soccer, so it was fun going to see them practice! And Silas and Micah loved learning some soccer tips from their bigger cousins!
Coon Hollo Corn Maze
On October 17th, my church planned a family day at Coon Hollo Corn Maze. We also invited several other churches to join us there. It was so much fun! They had hay rides, tractors, corn mazes, mini put put, and a huge hay fort! After counting everybody up there was a total of 50 people from our church! Isn't that awesome!
All the little kids loved the huge tractors that they had at the front..
The kids also loved the hay fort. They were rolling and jumping all in it. When Callie was done she had tons of hay in her hair!
Coon Hollo also had an archery place set up. You were able to shoot at a dummy deer and bear. On my third try I hit it right in the heart!
The hay ride was super fun! They took you to a field where they kept their cows and you were able to feed them. It was fun watching the girl sitting next to me because she stuck her whole hand in the cows mouth. When she took it out it was all wet! GROSS!!
Look at all the kids from VSIBC! The Lord is definitely growing His church!
Miss Cynthia came up to me and Beth a couple of weeks before and asked us to dress in plaid shirts, jean skirts, and boots! So we did, and all of us matched! (which it also gave us an excuse to go buy some new clothes!) :)
So thankful for this church and for God bringing us here. There's nothing like the feeling of being exactly where God wants you!
