All About Me

Just so you can get to know me better, I want to share what the Lord has done in me and my family's life.
I was born on July 6, 1999. When I was 6 the Lord called me and my family to share the Gospel with others on the island of St.Barths in the West Indies. We packed up all of our stuff, sold our house in Fort Myers, bought a motor home, and started traveling.
Trying to raise enough money to be able to get to the mission field, we went all across the U.S.! It is really scary going to a different church every service and meeting new people! (especially if you are like me...really shy!)  But we had an amazing time! I absolutely loved going to Mission's Conferences! If I had to choose a favorite preacher, I don't think I could. They were all really great!
After 3 years of Deputation, we traveled up to Canada to learn French, so that we would be able to communicate with the people on St. Barths. Going from Florida to Canada was a huge change! At first we loved all the snow! But then after several months it got kinda tiring. :)  Sledding is so much fun though!
Even more memories were made while we were in Canada. Like Old Quebec and Poutine (fries with gravy and squeaky cheese...Yum!) But after 2 years we had to leave and continue our work for the Lord. The next destination on our list: The West Indies!
Going to St. Barths was my first time to fly in a plane. I was so scared! The big jet that took us to St. Martin wasn't so bad. It was the tiny, bumpy plane that took us from St. Martin to St. Barths that was super scary! But you couldn't get a better view of the island!
Every Sunday morning we would have a Bible Study with several other ladies. We were able to lead 5 people to the Lord while there! Isn't that great? After 2 years my mom got really sick and went to several doctors on the island. They did not know what was making her feel that way, so they said to send my mom back to the U.S. She was gone for 2 whole months. That was really hard on the rest of us back on the island! I can't explain what's its like to be in a different country, without your mom, not knowing what is wrong with her!
Then one day she was diagnosed with cancer. Hearing her on the phone with my dad, them both crying, was really tough. We had to pack up and head back to the U.S. So many people were praying for my mom. And I believe it is because of their prayers that the cancer disappeared. The doctor's finally diagnosed her with Lyme Disease. But that meant that we had to be close to her doctors in America  and couldn't go back to St. Barths.
We had no idea what the Lord had in store for us. Our mission board was such a blessing and wanted us to start thinking about church planting in the U.S. Every night we would go state by state praying about where God would have us go. Finally as we were passing through a little town called High Springs, we knew that that was where He wanted us to plant a church.
Victory Springs Independent Baptist Church's opening day was March 22. On opening day a 31-year old man accepted Christ as his Savior. Since then  3 others got saved. Our biggest day was Memorial Day, 36 were there!
The Lord has been SO good to us. I just can't thank Him enough for bringing us here!
